IS A CHILD’S ATTEMPT AT COMMUNICATION
Kids don’t have the language skills to explain what is going on for them so they communicate through their actions. As parents, we may see our children struggling with anxiety, difficulties in their relationships with friends and family, refusing to go to school, or becoming physically agressive. You may see them being bullied, bully others, or becoming fearful, withdrawn or timid.
Our speciality is kids – the children and youth in our community that are building our future. As a therapist I meet children where they are at, and accept them unconditionally, without judgement. I use child-centered, therapeutic play to help children work on overcoming and mastering their problems, and support families and educators in working collaboratively to help the child succeed.
